Since Peter is so focused on the DJAI( 30 stocks weighted by the price of the stocks) it would be important for all to know that UNH has single handedly taken the DJIA to a "underperforming " status due to its 300+ point decline from highs. Every 100 dollar move in UNH is equivalent to ~655 points in the DJIA. With fingers and toes lets do the math: a 300 dollar move in UNH is equal to ~1965 points in DJIA.
This is why almost no one sees the DJIA as a leading indicator let alone a major focus of investment or trading. It is clear Peter likes to go to places no one else does to find that nugget to justify his bearish long term held beliefs. Its an incredible amount of work and effort but its not intellectually honest to disregard the largest innovative companies in the world. And one day, UNH will get its insurance shenanigans in order and it would be 50% off of its high.
