Peter - can you please explain what causes the continuum to go vertical? Does the price have a tendency to react bearish or bullish from your experience? Does IV increase?

The continuum is created by previous price movement, so the shape depends on that.

I’ve been here only long enough to see 2 swings. In October Peter was uber bearish, and wrong.
Then 15% higher and he’s bullish, and wrong.
Then he returned to his bearish stance, and, so far, right. Glad to see.
Risk of Santa Rally here. HUGE quad witching today.
I remain intermediate bearish due to collapsing corporate profits and my bullish US$ stance. After a correction, uber bullish USTs in #deflationaryrecession.

It's literally impossible to follow these updates when they go through so many hypothetical scenarios.
I would just need a summary that says:
$SPX Projections
Short Term: $XX-YY
Medium Term: $XX-YY
Long Term: $XX-YY
Really, that's it.
I don't know why I have to sit through 20+ minutes daily and still walk out confused.

In fairness to Peter, he has had conflicting projections lately and has not been ultra confident either way. It's a difficult market. I see many other financial gurus perplexed lately. The only two calls Peter has been confident in this year were the peak in January and the low in June. Both were excellent calls. There's a lot of cross current going on right now. Hopefully Peter will be able to identify when we will reach a trade-able bottom, and turn bullish at the appropriate time. I think we will bottom fairly soon, and have a fairly substantial rally into the end of March, probably to new highs. Let's see what happens. Please give Peter the benefit of the doubt.

Hello Peter. Excellent Analysis. I find much value in your technical analysis. Can you PLEASE take a look at @NQ in reference to the 50 Period Moving Average on a Monthly Chart and provide your comment. I am with you in regard to the lower projections and analysis, EXCEPT for when I see the @NQ 50 Period Moving Average on a Monthly Chart. Then I question the continued fall. The monthly 50 MA as been so very strong.
