Ray D. I closely follow the market on an hourly basis and have been short the Nasdaq 100 with small hedges in place. Patients and controlling emotions while trading is very difficult for me.

Can someone explain to me how the current market we are in always seems to find resistance, resulting in aggressive buying speculation and continues to climb?

Is this typical of a topping process or is the market telling us there is another leg up coming and not a decline?

Eg. - Wednesday premarket futures at 9:00 am were down over 280 points...the Nasdaq 100 slowly rallied all day long and closed positive by over 15 points. on Wednesday Evening Globex Nasdaq futures are positive by another 75 points!!

I am curious to know what is the source of this this buying pressure??? -Market makers squaring up there trades? -Institutional Money managers? -Hedge Funds? -Retail trading?

Is it possible that a few Brokerage Houses have a constant stream of funding from the US Treasury that intentionally props up the market??? Peter can you reply at some point this week?

Ray
