Peter, now that you've sparked my interest in the full moon cycle analog, I googled February's full moon and found a few things out about it that I thought was interesting. According to the farmer's almanac, the name of the moon dates back to the 1760's when Captain Jonathan Carver, said after a visit with Native American tribes the moon was dubbed the "Snow Moon," because "most snow commonly falls during this month than any other in the winter." It also has quite a few other names, but a few of them I thought you might like. "Storm Moon", "Hunter Moon", "Racoon Moon" are a few of them. But the best one's I thought might be most appropriate for this occasion are called..."Bear Moon" and "Black Bear Moon"...I hope at least for your sake that you get rewarded for all the efforts you put into this. Thanks for sharing this very interesting aspect that I never heard of before now.
