Peter Eliades’ name has been associated with stock market cycles since at least 1974 when his cycles predicted the exact low week of December 9-13, 1974. In 2020, after decades of painstaking progress, Peter released the first fully implemented cycle price projection software, Eliades Cycle Price Projections. Through this website you will access the opportunity to be exposed to this software and his accompanying market commentary.

Peter, How do you reconcile the divergent projections for silver and gold vs. the stock market? Also, given where we are with long term cycles....I would argue that we are concluding a Grand Super Cycle and Super Cycle in phase together. If that is the case, I wondered if Hurst cycle analysis would be less reliable given that we are seeing blowoff tops all over the place. I asked AI. Here is what it had to say:
Yes, Hurst Cycles are generally less reliable and more difficult to trade at the end of cycles (peaks) compared to the beginnings (troughs). This difficulty is compounded during blowoff tops and headline-driven short-covering rallies due to fundamental interactions that can distort the price influence of underlying cycles
. The Principle of Synchronicity Hurst’s Principle of Synchronicity states that cycle troughs tend to occur at the same time (synchronized), making bottoms relatively predictable and easier to identify. Conversely, cycle peaks are not synchronized. Because different cycle lengths peak at different times, finding the exact top of a composite wave is significantly more complex
Impact of Blowoff Tops and Short Covering Fundamental Interaction: Large news events or "short squeezes" are considered "Fundamental Interactions" that can temporarily override the technical cycle model. Distortion: These moves often create M-shaped or A-shaped price movements that are heavily distorted by the momentum of the move, sometimes pushing the price far beyond what the underlying cycle's amplitude would suggest.
Cycle Reliability Factors Principle of Variation: Hurst acknowledged that wavelengths and amplitudes are subject to constant variation; they are not exact repeats. External Overrides: External factors such as economic news, liquidity shifts, or geopolitical events can cause a previously reliable cycle to weaken or disappear.
