Unless there is more of those 1/9 advancing/declining days for, which it is almost impossible now because of continual interference by the PPT (plunge protection team) or its equivalent especially overnight, whatever the mechanism, I doubt that we will have ever cascading downside projections. Only one instance in 6 years of 1/9 advancing/declining days , that is serious manipulation.

I will always remember just before the top on January 26th 2018, it was more than a one hundred years record of so many consecutive days without more than a 3% decline and the next record of one hundred years for so many consecutive days without a 5% decline was reached, if I remember, just a few days before or slightly after January 26th 2018 and before February 5th 2018 where the big decline of 15% in about ten days, started in earnest. I thought then that it was impossible to have waited so long for such a record, if it was not from utter manipulation.

but finally, the levee broke, but it was February 2018 and later in Nov-Dec 2018. It broke too in late February 2020 for a few weeks till mid March 2020 and got repaired by many trillion' dollars injection by the federal reserve and the federal government in a panic move. The damage was completely repaired by early August 2020, and we are still expecting the same thing will happen, but now they do not let the market flinch by any means possible since March 9 2023. So, we wait a lot since that time, that a semblance of October 2022, which was a raising from de dead’s, will not throw a wrench in the flywheel which seems in motion since July 27, 2023

Guess what this whole mess to the downside is just one big topping process. The Big guns like UHN,BKNG,AZO,ORLY NVDA,GS are all in topping mode...so this will go on till something causes it to complete the top or the mania of the FANGS and NVDA no longer has a reason to elevate this market. When the Big Banks are through shoveling stock to the sheep. The real markdown will begin. Could happen at anytime. The trend is down,but any pop could be a good one. Fade the Green. IMHO
State Street,Vanguard,Blackrock and the Banks all know that in the ZB1 UST 117 will be broken and PAR is only a matter of time. This will fuel the decline in stocks. A ST rate of 7 percent is deadly and we have not enough energy production to offset any added deficit...Big bad news for the markets,not to mention BRICS....so a Stagflationary Depression is probable.

Based on Buffett's investment in Apple, and based on Buffett's own crazy-good success over the decades of directing BRKA to buy back its own shares in the same fashion, Apple may very well continue its meteoric rise over the coming years.
