Hussman does a lot of work, no argument. But t o cherry pick his oft EXTREMELY bearish bias is nothing but cherry picking. On 3.10.2023 he had "near zero" returns for 10-12 years. QQQ closed 292(379 7.14.23 close) SPX closed 3918(4505 7.14.23 close) That is 30% & 15% that one either missed or with convincing data, one would have been short. The complete misread by Hussman and frankly, SMCycles is one that should be paid attention too. We all have opinions. Anyone older that 13 years old knows the market does go up and does have sell offs. It does go up about 73% of the time. To be bearish 89% of the time is just going against the herd for some other reason that price awareness. I think its ego. To call "THE TOP" and have the market break huge can make a name for oneself. A small number did around 1987. It was mostly a one hit wonder.

Sad. It’s like bears feeding off each other looking for down market. So many TAs are bullish. Interest rate has to go down at some point Which helps valuations. Everyone looks forward, not backwards.

Those are the main ones I pay attention to and they haven't been invalidated yet so I don't see a need to not pay attention to them. Also this the week they both should get invalidated as it is right there for both of them.
So might as well see what they do this week.

However the QQQ, $NDX.X , TQQQ, $NASDAQ all invalidated it. Only /NQ has not. Why? I think it's because if u look at OCT futures it's over 16000 already .. easy invalidating.. and the preliminary upside is 16666 on Oct futes.
But.. that's just due diligence.
