Peter Eliades’ name has been associated with stock market cycles since at least 1974 when his cycles predicted the exact low week of December 9-13, 1974. In 2020, after decades of painstaking progress, Peter released the first fully implemented cycle price projection software, Eliades Cycle Price Projections. Through this website you will access the opportunity to be exposed to this software and his accompanying market commentary.

Hi Peter - on your 80% stat for the 48.4-55.3 offset I see you were using a nick filter - if you take that off its gives a 63% chance only to hit that target - I used same period of 3 years.
Thank you
Was there a NICK? Why was a Nick filter included.
Thanks for calling that to my attention. I think, as a general rule, I prefer to use nick filters because they tend to give more accurate pictures of an offset's performance. On the other hand, there are potential negatives also. If you use a nick filter of 2, a projection that has been confirmed will not show until 2 bars of confirmation. Another potential negative is, as you noted, you can forget o change the nick filter back to zero and get different results than with a zero nick filter. Perhaps we will come up with a better solution for nicks because it is an important aspect of the analysis, but the way Steffen has handled it up to now has been very effective as long as you remain aware that the filter has been enabled and can change results...
I like the nick filter as I believe that it filters out noise, I would rather wait for 2 days for a signal to be confirmed.
