This sounds strange but I feel as though I have gotten to know Peter over the past year through his videos... so this news is very troubling and worrisome. The end of the update with plans for his arrival back home was very encouraging. Hoping that he will take the time he needs to recover fully. Please take care Peter.

Thanks Steffen, if it's any comfort Peter has plenty of company, my neighbor followed a similar path last year. A healthy late-50s man who coached youth hockey in his spare time, the cold indoor rink air triggered a first-ever asthma attack that started the downward spiral. He was slow to recognize the danger but his wife called the ambulance and he spent two months in the hospital, part of it in an induced coma. But he did recover with only some short-term memory loss and the need to spend the rest of 2020 building up his endurance. He wanted to lose a bit of weight anyway so the bright side is that the hospital stay knocked him down from 220 to 180 lbs. Surprisingly and thankfully the event was non-covid. The moral of the story is that whether it's a deteriorating respiratory condition or a faltering A/D line, there is a time for study and there is a time for Action. I'm glad Peter is on the mend, and many thanks to those family members who probably saved his life.
